How do I get to be in a commercial? Do I need an agent? Are there auditions? What do I need to do to be in one? Where can I find a place where I can be in one?

Commercial acting is a fast-paced. Make sure you have good "Improv" skills, know how to bottom line your sides (tv lingo), have a head shot, have a life you can talk about if asked questions by the casting director.

Do not be afraid. Commercial models are not always the presttiest or most handsome (unless the commercial is for a beauty product and this one is not). What you need to exude is confidence, and an "interesting personality". Commercial acting is hard work - - the shoot for a 30-second tv commercial can last an entire day so be sure you have the time. The RiverDogs 2010 marketing campaign “Be Your Own Fan” will be showcased in the spots that will air this season.

“Be Your Own Fan” will allow fans to choose what aspects of the entertainment pertain to their own interests so start thinking about why you come out to the ballpark. Is it the great food, Charlie T. RiverDog, the giveaways or is it the talent on the field. This season you can Be Your Own fan!
